Junior Golf Academy at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club
For Ages 11-18

Give your child the opportunity to learn and develop their golf skills in a structured, fun, and supportive environment. Our Junior Academy offers weekend coaching sessions designed to help young golfers progress at their own pace while building confidence on the course.

Free Taster Session for Members | £15 for Non-Members

Program Structure

All juniors start in the beginner group unless they have a handicap. Progression to the next level is assessed during on-course play at the end of each month.

Beginner Groups

• 10 kids per group – £50 per month
• Sessions: Saturday 1:00 PM & Sunday 1:30 PM
• All equipment provided for beginner level
• Weekly Focus:

  
  

  • Week 1: Putting
  • Week 2: Chipping
  • Week 3: Full Swing (Irons & Drivers)
  • Week 4: Golf Course Play

To move up from Beginners, players must demonstrate:
✔ Understanding of order of play on the course
✔ Ability to get out of a bunker and rake it correctly
✔ Proper etiquette for ball searches and drops
✔ Respect for putting green and driving range etiquette
✔ Collection of 50 balls from out-of-bounds on the range

Improver Groups

• 8 kids per group – £60 per month
• Sessions: Saturday 2:00 PM & Sunday 2:30 PM
• Players must have their own clubs

To move up from Improvers, players must demonstrate:
✔ A solid pre-shot routine
✔ Correct divot repair on the course and range
✔ Ability to reach every green in regulation
✔ Basic caddie training: cleaning clubs, quick yardage checks, green reading, and course maintenance
✔ Collection of 100 balls from out-of-bounds and repair of 50 divots on the range
