Is indoor golf coaching only for experienced golfers?
No. Beginners can learn indoors just as effectively, while more experienced golfers can make greater use of the detailed launch-monitor feedback.
Can I book Matt at Pure Swing during winter?
Yes. Pure Swing is intended to be an important indoor coaching base for Matt through the darker and wetter months. Contact Matt for current coaching slots and pricing.
Is a coaching lesson the same as booking a simulator bay?
No. Pure Swing offers general bay hire, but an ME Golf Academy lesson is a coaching session with Matt using the simulator and GCQuad as teaching tools.

GCQuad can provide detailed ball and club information. In a coaching session, Matt can use that feedback to confirm whether a change is improving the outcome and help you understand why a particular miss keeps appearing.
The goal is still a golf swing you can take outside. Indoor data is most useful when it makes the solution clearer and gives you a repeatable practice task.
When indoor coaching is the better option.
Indoor coaching is particularly useful when you want consistent feedback without weather, wind or poor winter light changing the session. At Pure Swing, every shot can be viewed alongside launch-monitor information, so the conversation is based on what the ball and club are actually doing rather than guesswork.
That does not mean every lesson becomes a numbers lesson. The data is there to support the coaching. A player who needs one simple feel can still work simply; a golfer who wants to understand strike, start direction or how a technical change affects ball flight can see the result immediately.
For established players, the controlled setting is useful for technical work, gapping and structured practice. For beginners, it creates a comfortable environment where there is no pressure from a busy range or golf course. Juniors can also use the simulator environment to keep golf engaging through winter.
Pure Swing is in Hersham, close to Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Weybridge, Cobham, Claygate and the wider Surrey area. It gives Matt a winter base when outdoor evening coaching becomes more limited by daylight and weather.
The studio has three full-size simulator bays using Foresight GCQuad technology and more than 100 virtual courses. ME Golf Academy coaching is separate from simply booking a bay: the lesson is with Matt and is focused on improving your golf.
